Floating Ball Valve
  • A floating ball valve is a type of ball valve where the ball is not supported by trunnions. Instead, the ball is free to float within the valve body. This design allows the ball to move freely in response to changes in pressure, providing a tight seal even when the valve is not perfectly aligned.

    Floating ball valves are typically used in applications where there are frequent changes in pressure or flow rate. They are also a good choice for applications where a tight seal is required, such as in food and beverage processing. A floating ball valve uses a ball as the structure to close the cross-section of the pipe and prevent the flow of the fluid.
