Double Offset Butterfly Valve
  • A double offset butterfly valve is a type of butterfly valve that has two offsets in the axis of the valve stem. The first offset is located in the valve body, and the second offset is located in the valve disc. This design provides a number of advantages over other types of butterfly valves, including:

    • Improved sealing capability: The double offset design creates a cam action that helps to seal the valve tightly.
    • Smoother operation: The double offset design also helps to reduce friction between the valve disc and the seat, making the valve easier to operate.
    • Increased flow capacity: The double offset design allows the valve to flow more fluid than other types of butterfly valves.
    • Longer lifespan: The double offset design helps to reduce wear and tear on the valve, extending its lifespan.

Double offset butterfly valves are typically used in applications where there are high demands for sealing, such as in the oil and gas industry. They are also used in applications where there are high flow rates, such as in power plants.

Manufactured as per the following Design, Face to Face and End Connection Standards. ASME, ANSI, AS, BS, API etc.

    • Quarter-turn operation: The valve disc rotates 90 degrees to either block or allow flow.
    • Double offset design: The axis of the valve stem has two offsets, which improves sealing capability and reduces friction.
    • Wide range of sizes and materials: Double offset butterfly valves are available in a wide range of sizes and materials, making them suitable for a variety of applications.
    • High pressure and flow rates: Double offset butterfly valves can withstand high pressure and flow rates, making them ideal for demanding applications.
    • Smooth operation: The double offset design allows the valve disc to rotate more smoothly, providing a smoother flow of fluid.
    • Tight seal: Double offset butterfly valves can provide a tight seal, making them a good choice for applications where contamination is a concern.

Double offset butterfly valves are used in a wide variety of applications, including:

    • Oil and gas industry
    • Chemical industry
    • Water treatment industry
    • Power generation industry
    • Food and beverage industry

I took a gamble on this sweater, amazon clothing seems to sometimes be way different quality than what’s pictured but I was very happy when I received this sweater! Sanjeev Garg | 27 Aug, 2021

his sweater is a bulky, fairly heavy winter sweater that will be awesome for the office or casual wear. The fabric is very silky soft. It’s nice and snuggly! I can’t wait for it to get cool enough to wear it! Sanjeev Garg | 27 Aug, 2021
